For those flying privately, about 30 minutes from the Junction, TX airstrip. Arrival is at noon, but we can work with you on schedule as well as airport pickup if necessary. Turkey hunting with a bow or shotgun is ok, and if you are adding a hog/varmint package a rifle as well. A Texas hunting license is required and are available at numerous retailers. We have chef-prepared meals and non-alcoholic beverages are included in your package. Cabins are clean and comfortable, and amenities such as satellite tv are available in common areas. Expect good camp experiences and excellent service. The weather varies widely, so check in advance and pack appropriately. Guided turkey hunts are active, so prepare to be on the move locating and calling in birds. If you questions about any specific gear, products, or otherwise don’t hesitate to ask us. We want you to be prepared, comfortable, and above all successful. We recommend snake boots as snakes can be present, and cactus is always present. Expect hunts to begin in the early a.m. to get them coming down from the roost, and run through late morning. Evening hunts will begin late afternoon, with lunch and a siesta in between.
